A Weekend in Yorkshire
Dips - It started (late) with Champagne & "Dips" at the Shusters ...

We had a Ball - for it was then off to the Mess at Linton .....
|
The boys had a drink or two - then dinner with the girls.... |
|
|
followed by speeches! |
Afterwards the girls chatted up some of the young aircrew - Jill with Arthur (a rear gunner on Liberators) |
Brian was so impressed with the band, especially the pianist,
he decided to conduct it!

The dancing then got a bit wild.....
|
|
Finally the boys thought a bit of night flying might be in order, but couldn't get it push started - despite the thoughtful RAF painting an arrow on the aircraft to show which way to push it!
Then back to Raskelf for a Muslim Party - No booze and hide the women's faces....

A Day at the Seaside - Next day after a late start it was off to Whitby for fish & chips...
